Dine in harkers island

Few experiences stir the senses like dining on freshly caught seafood along the ocean’s edge. Our long history of fishing combined with North Carolina’s rich culinary culture has created a landscape of restaurants with roots as deep as the waters. Our Carteret Catch program even ensures you know which ingredients are caught or grown locally.

Seaside Galley

A casual lunch spot located in Harkers Island on the Crystal Coast. Great locally made clam chowder. The specials on the chalk board often offer their wonderful Oyster and Shrimp baskets. They make their own tartar sauce which is also great for dipping your French fries. Ms Mila Guthrie, a native downeaster, knows how to cook seafood and where to buy it locally: a recipe for a great meal at a great price. Good home cooking with a relaxed nautical atmosphere.
