The documentary STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF MOTOWN will be playing at The Circle as an outdoor movie night event.

The movie tells the story of The Funk Brothers, a group of Detroit musicians who created the motown sound.

A food truck will be there at 7:30 PM, the movie starts at 8:30 PM. Bring blankets, chairs, and coolers!

STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF MOTOWN is the third movie that The Town of AB and Moondog Cinema will be hosting this summer as part of ‘Rock N Roll Satudays’, a documentary film series all about music. Admission is free and open to the public.

‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Saturdays’ aims to give people in Carteret County the opportunity to share an experience in learning awesome stories about iconic music with family and friends.
