New Year's Eve Hat-Making Party at the History Museum

1008 Arendell St., in Morehead City, North Carolina | (252) 247-7533

December 31, 2016 | 10:00 am-4:00 pm

December 31, 2016

On Saturday, December 31st, 2016, make plans to visit the History Museum of Carteret County. The museum (which will be closed all week long) will be open special hours that day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and feature a “party hat-making party” for adults and kids alike. This will be the third year of the museum’s participation in the annual New Year’s Eve Crystal Coast Countdown. Steve Anderson, Museum Director noted that “this is one of the most engaging events we do, and involves everyone who can hold a gluestick or staple paper!”

The paper hat making event is free with general admission to the museum, that being $3 per adult and $1 per child; and Carteret County Historical Society members are admitted for free. All hat making supplies and assistance will be provided for young and old alike by the museum’s staff, so plan on coming down and thinking up an outrageous party hat for your evening’s New Year’s Eve Party!

For this event, the doors of the History Museum, 1008 Arendell St., in Morehead City, North Carolina, will open on Saturday the 31st at 10 a.m. Assistance will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
