Hungry Town Tours offers the perfect bicycle tour to see a unique side of Beaufort. You’ll get an insider’s perspective on where the locals go to eat and play. From the pirate, Blackbeard to shipbuilders and historic homes, your local guide will reveal a side of history you won’t get anywhere else.

The Beaufort Historic District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. There are about 285 historic homes in the district; of these, over 150 boasts plaques awarded to home at least 100 years old, dating back to the late 1700s. An easy bicycle tour for people of all ages.

Tour includes local guide, bottle of water, taxes, and bike rental.

Departs Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday – 10 a.m.; Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday – 2 p.m. Approximately 1-1 ½ hours. $20 per person. Ages: 15 yrs. old & up (teenagers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and able to ride adult-size bikes). Younger adults
