TElescope and AStrophotography worksHOP (TEAShop) @ Webb Memorial Public Library

812 Evans St, Morehead City, North Carolina 28557 | (252) 726-3012

March 31, 2018 | 1:00 pm-5:00 pm

We amateur astronomers may not be good at naming things (I mean, c’mon, TEAShop? Really?), but we are pretty good at finding cool things to look at.

Do you have a telescope and aren’t quite sure how to use it? Do you have questions about how to improve your astrophotography? Do you just have questions about telescopes, other equipment, or astronomy in general? Come to our workshop! Maks, reflectors, refractors, Newtonians, Dobsonians, astrographs, Cassegrains, CCDs, CMOS, DSLR, LRGB, monochrome, PHEW!!! It’s a lot of information to take in and can get confusing, and that’s just the equipment names let alone how to run it all! Bring your own telescope and other equipment and we can help you set it up if you’re having difficulty. If you just have a general interest or are curious, some of our members will have their own gear setup and will be happy to discuss it with you and answer your questions. This event is free and open to the public. There are no tickets or registration required. We only ask that you drop us a comment or message and let us know you’re planning to attend and what you’d like to discuss. This will help us try and accommodate for the number of people and topics.
