Pack a lunch for the Brown Bag Gam during your lunch hour and join Associate Curator Benjamin Wunderly to learn about the United States Life-Saving Service Operations in North Carolina.  Learn about the different stations that existed along the coast and what daily life was like for those in the service. The responding crews of United States Life-Saving Service were often the only hope of survival for shipwrecked victims along the North Carolina coast. The rescues performed by these men were some of the most heroic in our Nation’s history. Free Admission. No advance registration. Walk-ins welcome.  North Carolina Maritime Museum.
