Pack a lunch for the Brown Bag Gam during your lunch hour and join Associate Museum Curator Benjamin Wunderly for an informal discussion on the sinking of the Pulaski. The sinking of the steamship Pulaski off the coast of North Carolina in 1838, marked one of the first explosions of a coastal steamship. With a crew of thirty seven, and one hundred and fifty passengers, there were few survivors. Gam is defined as a friendly conversation between whalers or to visit with another ship while at sea.
