Four local restaurants will compete at the Harvey W. Smith Watercraft Center. Participants enjoy a tasting-sized portion of each of the four chowders and then vote for their favorite.  In addition clam chowder, the event will host a cornbread taste-off.

For the first time, the battle for the title of “Best Clam Chowder” take place among local chefs. The four restaurants include: Finz Grill with Chef Heather Hill assisted by Amanda Girard, Clawson’s 1905 Restaurant & Pub with Chef Jon McGregor and Chef Corrie Robbins, Dock House Restaurant with Chef Gene Yarbrough assisted by Donald Fulcher, and The Boathouse at Front Street Village with Chef Kenny Collins assisted by Julie Mills.

Competitors for the cornbread taste-off include four teams.  They are Barbara Baker and Don Kritsch, Barb and Bob Thomas, David and Becky Keefe, and Les Sadler.
