We are so pleased to offer you the line-up for our 14th Annual Storytelling Festival.

We will again have performances on four Wednesday mornings in July at

10:00am., at the Crystal Coast Civic Center, Morehead City, and also four afternoon shows at 2:00pm., at the Bethlehem Methodist Church, corner of Bogue Loop Rd. and Rt. 24 in Bogue.

We are generously supported by the Friends of the Bogue Banks Public Library, the Friends of the Carteret County Public Library and the Friends of the Western Carteret Public Library, without which these programs would not be possible. We deeply appreciate their considerations for our Storytelling Festival.

Our list of excellent performers is:

Wednesday July 5th: Lona Bartlett from Charlotte, NC.

A performance artist, storyteller, puppeteer and educator, she has performed internationally and been involved with multimedia productions. In Lona’s opinion, we are traveling a journey therefore; life is all about the story. “Have fun or go home”.

Wednesday July 12th: Ron Jones from Durham, NC

He strives to take audiences on an animated and high energy ride! His series of family stories are meant to make you laugh with joy or tug at your heart strings, and everything between.

Wednesday July 19th: No Sleeves Magic from Wilmington, NC.

Voted best family entertainer 8 years in a row by the Wilmington Parent Magazine, Michael Rosander and his group inspire children, not only in magic and theater but also in life.

Wednesday July 26th: Bright Star Touring Theater from Asheville, NC.

The theater company has earned a national reputation for high quality performances that play to a young audience’s intelligence and meet National Standards of learning. Their programs are as educational as they are entertaining.

Please keep us in mind for your summer plans.
